It does seem a bit redundant to have an entire page dedicated to me when this whole site is, after all, About Me. But since “they” say I should have one, I’ll have one.
Trust me, it’s about the last thing that the ubiquitous “they” say I should do that I will actually do.
I’m Rebecca Diamond, in case you haven’t figured that out by now.
I’m in my 40’s.
I’ve been married to the world’s most wonderful man since ’97 – we’ve been together over half my life!
I’m Mom, Mama, Mommy, and “my most sweetest and wonderful and precious Mother” to my adorable, miraculous son. He was born in ’03, a little earlier than he should have been – a trait that’s stuck with him. He’s quite precocious. I’m quite biased.
I craft. A lot.
I read. A lot.
I talk. A lot.
I work. A lot.
Yes, you may be right – there seems to be a trend here…I’m fairly obsessive, and I believe that anything worth doing is worth
researching, talking to other people who do it, making new friends, trading stories, learning more, worrying about how I do it, trying 15 different ways to do it, and settling on one way to do it only to change it when I find a better way to do it doing well.
I’m a Christ-follower. Yes, truly I am, in spite of everything including the fact that we have no settled church home.
This site? It’s pretty much me – who I am, what I think, what I like and dislike, whatever I feel like talking about. “They” say a blog should be consistent, about one thing or another, and done a certain way. That’s them. This is me – The Real Rebecca Diamond.
