for my birthday, here’s what I scored plus planned projects:
3 skeins Louisa Harding Fauve, Hot Pink: http://www.diamondyarn.com/d/yarn/louisa-harding-fauve/ – booties and headband for baby girl
2 skeins Louisa Harding Sari Ribbon, color 16 http://www.diamondyarn.com/d/yarn/louisa-harding-sari-ribbon/ – scarf for a friend
2 skeins Louisa Harding Sari Ribbon, color 19 (same link) – to give to a new-to-knitting friend
6 skeins Louisa Harding Sari Ribbon, color 21 (same link) – vest for me
2 skeins worsted Berroco yarn, in “Tony Stewart red”, according to The Boy. Yes, this is for his winter hat/mittens.
3 skeins Lion Brand chunky cotton yarn, chocolate brown – dunno, thought I’d mix w/sari ribbon, think I’ll stash it and use silk merino instead
1 massive skein of some chunky deep teal wool, can’t remember the brand. Will be perfect for the winter purse I want to felt.
1 skein of Noro sock weight yarn, to make a hat.
2 skeins pink hand-dyed Cherry Hill, fingering weight I think? Will make a yummy Victorian baby tshirt, w/the pattern I got from Oat Couture.
The latest Vogue Knitting/Interweave Knits, plus a couple of back issues of Piecework that I didn’t have.
And, ummmm, 5 more pair of Addi Turbos, 4 of them Lace Addi Turbos.
Now, everyone chant with me, That’s enough yarn for this year. Enough. Enough. Enough.
And here’s where I give a shoutout to my husband and The Boy for spoiling me so very decadently this year <3
